The leafy stem and lack of basal leaves of H. paniculatum readily distinguish it from our other species of Hieracium. In fact, it often puzzles the inexperienced botanist, who may overlook the possibility that this plant is a Hieracium! The milky sap and obscure teeth on the leaves are good corroborative characters, per Weakley's Flora (2022)

If a search such as "Carex leptalea var. leptalea" doesn't deliver the results you want, try "Carex leptalea".
Or, to minimize chances of a misspelling, try just "Carex le".
Less is more: If "pencil flower" doesn't deliver the results you want, try "pencil".
